A quickie
Hello, all.
I just noticed that it has been almost a month since I posted. Many times I have thought about posting, and I have missed being able to make my hand dance on the keyboard as I indulge myself in an analysis of whatever might be on my mind. However, it is exam period (following a hectic month), and my mind has been singularly occupied with my classes and exams. Thankfully (because I need a break), my last exam is on Wednesday, so definitely expect the last installment about "good books" before the end of the week. Also, after my exams, I am going to be reading Becoming Abigail, by Chris Abani. So, expect some commentary on this book, which I suspect will be good and will provoke a written response from me.
I am looking forward to being able to sleep for six to eight hours, dine with friends, and call people.

Rosemary, I was ecstatic to see a post from you! I can't wait to reaed your observations on Abani's "Becoming Abigail"; his earlier book "Graceland" was terrific, too, or so I am told. I also look forward to reading your post on "How To Read A Good Book".
